Sum 41, Some say

Some say we're never meant to grow up
i'm sure they never knew enough
i know the pressures won't go away
it's too late
Find out the difference somehow
it's too late to even have faith
don't think things will ever change
you must be dreaming
Think before you make up your mind
you don't seem to realise
i can do this on my own
and if i fall i'll take it all
it's so easy after all
Believe me 'cause now's the time to try
don't wait, the chance will pass you by
time's up to figure it out
you can't say it's too late
Seems like everything we knew
turned out were never even true
don't trust, things will never change
you must be dreaming
Think before you make up your mind
you don't seem to realise
i can do this on my own
and if i fall i'll take it all
it's so easy after all
Some say we're better off without
knowing what life is all about
i'm sure they'll never realise the way
it's too late
Somehow it's different everyday
in some ways it never fades away
seems like it's never gonna change
i must be dreaming
Think before you make up your mind
you don't seem to realise
i can do this on my own
think before you make up your mind
you don't seem to realise
i can do this on my own
and if i fall i'll take it all
it's so easy after all
Believe me, it's alright
it's so easy after all
believe me, it's alright
it's so easy after all

The racism

I did this presentation with Jordi Olivet. We do not focus much in this work, although we had to do. The issue is racism and talk about the definition, history, types of racism, some examples and the impact it produces.
In doing this work we have seen, even more than before, that racism is a stupid idea. I think people should be made aware of what can cause, because it is a very serious problem.

Racism is usually defined as views, practices and actions reflecting the belief that humanity is divided into distinct biological groups called races and that members of a certain race share certain attributes which make that group as a whole less desirable, more desirable, inferior or superior.

Racial discrimination
Racial discrimination refers to the separation of people through a process of social division into categories not necessarily related to races for purposes of differential treatment.
Institutional
Institutional racism is racial discrimination by governments, corporations, religions, or educational or other large organizations with the power to influence the lives of many individuals.institutions

Economic
Historical economic or social disparity is alleged to be a form of discrimination caused by past racism and historical reasons.

Impact

Generates hated, resentment, strife, etc.. between individuals or populations.
It is not easy to manage or eradicate.
They can cause the loss of life of many people, whether those applying or receiving racism.

Why do we always see the same side of the Moon?

We will never see the dark side of the moon. At least to the naked eye from Earth. And that there was a time, over millions of years, when it was possible.

To explain Professor Antonio Ruiz de Elvira visit the science museum of Obra Social La Caixa in Alcobendas. (Cosmocaixa)

The Moon is a small satellite of the Earth, constantly looking around the center of it, and the 'fall' from a distance it really does is turn the planet. Is very close to us and so we have mutual interaction between the Earth-Moon.

This interaction produces tides, there synchronizes the rotation. The moon rotates around its axis, and does danto a complete turn on itself at the same time it makes a complete circle around the Earth. If we take a ride on a table looking always at its center, give a lap around the table and walked around ourselves. The reason these two turns synchronized is the same as that of the existence of the tides. It is the constant gravitational interaction between Earth and Moon.

These small discoveries are piling in a drawer where we keep everything we know, but we have so much to know .. The universe is huge, and every time I think about it, I'm terrified, I could say. It is something that is beyond us, and people do not have in mind, everyone continues with their lives as if they did not care what was out there, and it is so.
We are not aware of what lies beyond these borders. I call the attention these issues.

A description of a place

In this pciture we can see a valley. Probably located in a Nordic country in Europe. We do not see anyone in the photo, because it is a plane away. You can see a small town about 5 or 6 houses, and other more outside. The building with the tower looks like a chapel. You can see, too, the roads leading to that village. climbing slopes are lush forests, and in the background, mountains of pure sharp stone.
The day seems sunny with few clouds.
To me it is a very endearing landscape. Emanates tranquility and purity. I really like this type of landscape as it looks great nature and a bit of civilization.

The Tiger

Since I always like the tiger, an animal is impressive, strong, wild, agile and robust at the same time, I like many of his qualities, so it will be one of my favorite animals.
It is difficult to have a tiger, but still without one, I admire him.
If the tiger live in a peaceful place, the animal becomes quiet.
This animal seems unbelievable to me as a lion, another of my favorites. Many wild cats really like. These animals are awesome and powerful, dominant and fearless.

A film review: Schindler's List

It's about a German businessman during World War II. Hire workers Jews, and will prevents camps. At the end of the war, manages to save 1200 Jews. Currently the descendants of these Jews are more than 6000 people.
The movie I liked it, it is very powerful and moving. We have seen it in history class. Although this is an old movie, and it is not the typical to see it, I liked a lot.
The end of the movie is very touching, in which Schindler sinks in sadness and he could not save more Jews, although you have already saved it and will thank thank forever.

Fever in Tokyo for the iPad

The depreciation of the yen, the Japanese currency has raised the cost of imports of the popular tablets iPad and Apple iPhone handsets, which retail prices have increased 20%. The rise, which came into force on Friday, has caused sales of U.S. manufacturer's devices have soared in anticipation that, once depleted stock products are considerably more expensive.

This fever for the iPhone is a spillover effect of the stimulus plan of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who has launched an ambitious program to encourage inflation. The plan, known as Abenomics, has not stopped the rate of the yen against other international reference currencies, especially the dollar, which is the reference currency of Apple. As a result, exports encouraged Japanese products, raises income within the country and stimulate spending. In the case of the iPhone or iPad, however, the stimulus to consumption has been in another way.

I do not understand how people can have that uncontrollable fever to Apple or other brands. Although put a price most high, customers will continue to buy that brand, be faithful or not, simply fashions. I've seen up in high school, boys and girls of 12 have the iphone last about 700 euros, more or less, and I wonder: is a whim of the parents or children are a pampered? Also I have seen in the street, people who do not look expensive clothes and have a last generation iphone.
I have also seen the number one fan of Apple, who has all ipods, ipads iphones i Mac, you have left, that if those who have gone lately, none of the ancients, those are not cool ... I think this are fashions, thought, if he does, I also want it. I do not think that having an iPhone is bad, of course not, only in bad economic times we should not waste our money on a product that expensive.

Google Glass: the spectacles that double as a smartphone

If you are one of those people who feels e-mails, phone calls and social networking have invaded enough of their lives already, look away now.
Google has released the first video showing what the world looks like through the latest prototype of its “smart glasses”, a computer integrated into your field of vision.

I think this product will be a real revolution, as was the iphone in its infancy, so will the Google Glass, shortly after this innovation may surprise. To me this device was very surprised and certainly not many, because I thought that something like that would be invented soon. I guess I find myself easily in terms of new technologies. These things frighten a little, because you know that you can not invent tomorrow and that is an incredible revolution that changes everything.

Description of a place

In this picture we can see a very beautiful beach. I supposed that it is situated in a hot country, maybe in the Caribbean. We don't see anybody, in the back ground , in these cabins maybe are people, tourists and natives from the island. Back to the cabins are a green mountain, which have the same form like a volcano.

The colour of the water is turquoise . In front are three palms planted in the sand. Between two palms are a white hammock, seems like is very comfortable. We can see a very nice blue sky with some clouds. Respect the sea there aren't any waves, and it is very quiet.

Dear Kate,

Thanks for your letter, I'm glad to hear that you're well. You were asking me if I spend my holidays in Greece and what places I recommend. Well, I'm going camping abroad this year, but when I stay in Greece, my friends usually rent a holiday home in a place called Brontë, near Atenas.

I can recommend Brontë. I like it because it's a small village, but it's quite lively. It's a pretty place with a relaxed atmosphere. You soon meet friendly people in the cafés or just sitting in the square.

If you come here, you'll need a great camera to do a lot of photos, the views are awesome. Here are a few photos from my last visit.

I hope to see you soon.

New year resoultion

This 2013 I want to change a little and I want to realize some of my objectives. First I  want  to recover the subject of philosophy.  I want to improve my note and approve all the subjects. I want to travel a lot in Europe and I want to work this summer to have my money and be more mature and responsible.
